👋 Meet the Owners – Dynamic Duo, Kerri & Paul!
Kerri and Paul, the dynamic duo behind Firpress, are the heart and soul of the company. With their combined expertise and passion, they have driven Firpress to new heights, ensuring its reputation for quality and innovation…
𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗜 𝗕𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗞 – THE ORGANISATION QUEEN
Part of the driving force behind our growth and success – an embodiment of resilience and unwavering dedication! Kerri stands as the unseen hero—a true organisation queen As the linchpin that keeps our cogs turning, Kerri’s technical prowess and unwavering commitment ensure that our operational and administrative systems flow seamlessly.
From Recruitment & HR, Finance & Management Accounts, Health & Safety to all areas of office administration and assisting with quotations for customer enquiries, Kerri navigates the intricate web of responsibilities at Firpress effortlessly. Her keen eye for detail also ensures that all quality assurance standards are met, and non-conformances are swiftly addressed.
Kerri’s roots run deep in the rugged landscapes of Cumbria. When she’s not orchestrating our operations, you’ll find her outdoors, conquering fells and breathing in the fresh air. Family is her anchor—her husband and two sons, Ethan, and Jamie, share her adventurous spirit.
Kerri’s lineage intertwines with our company’s history. The daughter of Mike and Jo Firby, the original directors who laid the foundation in 1985, Kerri stepped into the fold in 2001. Her strategic vision played a pivotal role in the management buyout with Paul, and by 2003 they held the reins firmly.
Our moral support and customer liaison team—Finn and Bowie—belong to Kerri. These four-legged companions accompany her to work daily, adding a touch of warmth to our bustling office.
Kerri, when not at Firpress, goes above and beyond her professional duties. As Co-Chair of Governors at a local UTC, she collaborates with fellow leaders to shape educational policies and enhance student experiences. Kerri’s commitment also extends to sports, where she supports local rugby coaches by handling administrative tasks and providing first aid assistance. Her dedication exemplifies community engagement, fostering connections and making a positive impact.
